These terms govern your use of plaidtesting.com. They are not the agreement under which we deliver client work. That is a separate signed statement of work, and where the two differ, the signed agreement governs.

Plaid Testing is a marketing consultancy for ecommerce brands. We are not affiliated with Plaid Inc., the financial technology company.
Using this site
You may read this site, and share or quote it with attribution. You may not copy it wholesale, scrape it for republication, misrepresent it as your own, use it to build a competing service, attempt to break into any part of it, or use it in any way that breaks the law.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
The growth audit
We offer a free growth audit of up to roughly 30 minutes. What that includes:
- A review of how you currently define a profitable order, your measurement setup, your new customer economics, and your creative capacity.
- Our written findings, which are yours to keep and act on however you wish, whether or not we go on to work together.
What it is not:
- It is not a contract, a proposal, or a commitment by either side.
- It is not a forecast. Anything we say about likely outcomes is an opinion based on limited information given in a short call.
- It is not financial, legal, or tax advice.
Booking an audit does not oblige you to buy anything, and we do not put you into an automated follow-up sequence for requesting one. We may decline to carry out an audit, and we will say plainly if we do not think we are a fit.
No guarantee of results
This matters, so it is stated directly. Marketing results depend on your product, your offer, your margins, your operations, your market, competitor behaviour, and the advertising platforms themselves. Most of that is outside our control.
Any results shown on this site describe what specific businesses achieved in specific periods under specific conditions. They are stated accurately and every figure traces to platform reporting we hold on file. They are not a prediction of what your business will achieve, and nothing on this site is a promise, warranty or guarantee of any particular outcome, ranking, revenue or return.
Information on this site
We take care that what we publish is accurate and sourced at the time of writing. Search behaviour, platform features, market rates and third-party data change, and articles are not continuously revised. Where we cite an external source we name it and date it. The content here is general information for business owners, not advice about your specific situation, and you should not act on it without considering your own circumstances or taking professional advice.
Content you send us
You keep ownership of anything you submit through the forms or send us by email. By sending it, you give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for, such as preparing and delivering an audit. You confirm that you are entitled to share it and that doing so does not breach anyone else’s rights or any confidentiality obligation you are under.
Please do not send confidential information you are not authorised to disclose, and do not send passwords or financial account details through this website.

The text, design, images, logos and code on this site belong to Plaid Testing or are used with permission. Client brand names and logos shown on this site remain the property of those businesses and appear with their permission.

Where we link to another website, we do so because it is useful or because we are citing it. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
